Can Eye Exercises Reverse Vision Loss?

Life is sometimes not the smooth sailing we expected. As age progresses so does the need to maintain our body systems. What is that adage? “If you don’t use it, you loose it.”

Flexibility and circulation decreases with age. Oxygen and nutrients are not as readily available and power to operate lessens. One sign of the aging process is the need for corrective lenses.

Early Eyesight Screening Protects Future Vision

Vision screenings are non-invasive eye tests, used to detect problems with eyesight. They can be performed by nurses, pediatricians or technicians. Problems such as Amblyopia, known as lazy eye, and Strabismus, also called crossed eyes, are two conditions detected by eyesight screening. If left untreated, these conditions can lead to permanent loss of vision and progress to other serious eye conditions. If problems are detected during vision screenings, you should be seen by an eye doctor.

Antioxidants Protect Eyesight Are You At Risk For Glaucoma?

Glaucoma is a condition that causes damage the optic nerve in the eye. If this condition is left untreated, it can lead to blindness. In fact, glaucoma is the second-leading cause of blindness. UV Expose Today: Eye Damage In Years Ahead

Most of us enjoy a good suntan and have been convinced from an early age that it is so much healthier and more attractive to have a beautiful bronzed tan. However, it is not surprising today, to find that these “healthy” suntans that we got growing up, were not so healthy after all, especially to the eyes.
